Can anyone explain the reasons for different Spring Loaded Bearings for LCI and Non-LCI? What effect if using the wrong one?

Also, why different bearings for each caliber?

I understand each puts a little different spring pressure on the extractor but it seems so little difference as not to have much effect.

I have an LCI in my G23 and a non-LCI in my G27 with the correct SLB's for each, the difference in tension when swinging each extractor with my finger is barely different at all, I'd say the non-LCI has just a tiny bit more tension.

I remember seeing one person who bought a used G22 I think, it had a non-LCI extractor with an LCI SLB and the extractor kept falling out while firing.
