I've been a fan of these since the 60's when Connery had the role and alway thought he was the only James Bond and now?
I think Daniel Craig may be comming close to beating him.

I'll see it, though cautiously, after the flaming turd that Quantum of Solace was.

I didnt like Quantim of Solice until I watched it and Casino Royal back to back.
It seems like one very long movie that was badly cut.

Didn't like Quantum that much...nowhere near as good as Casino Royale. May have to try it back to back though to see if my opinion changes. And it might be one of those movies that is good a second or third viewing.

Having said all that, I thought the opening car chase to Quantum was very well done. Just a shame it went downhill from there.

This one however looks like it should be good.

No one is better than Sir Connery. With that being said, I actually was quite surprised at how well Craig performed. I am looking forward to seeing the latest Bond movie.

I heard he was (or comes close to) making out with Javier Bardem. Can anyone confirm or deny? James Bond only kills men, he does not get on his ghey with them.

They are different. Connery is a caviler, charming smart ass who always gets the girl.
Craig is much more all business, ruthlessly kill the badguys. Darker.

    I like both of them.

I think Pierce Brosnan was the coolest James Bond.

I thought he would be, then was unimpressed. :(

Craig is pretty good. I'll pay to see Skyfall.

I think Daniel Craig is a great choice to play the role of 007, seems to show more of a cold, darker side to Bond.

    Yes......

If you don't think so, you should read the books.

Craig just doesn't seem bond-like to me. He just seems to have a big ego.

I like Connery the best, but Daniel Craig is awesome. Brosnan was good too, but I always thought Liam Neeson would have made a better bond in that era.

I've always like Connery but Craig actually is closer to the character that Ian Fleming wrote.

Pierce Brosnan was way too elegant.

This is the part that people seem to forget. Sean Connery was not the first Bond. Ian Fleming's Bond was not some "roguishly handsome ladies' man."

    From the novel "Moonraker":

Craig comes closer than any of the actors to date, in my opinion, to Fleming's concept of the character.

CR was great - consensus seems to be QoS (except for the opening car chase lol) sucked.

But all the critics with access to Skyfall think its awesome. With Craig and Bardem (who seems to be MADE to play bad guys of a particularly lethal disposition) I'm optimistic.

Looks like Bond has gone to Bulgy Mak for his sidearm:

Works for me - I own one.
