My dad is a pilot for a large airline which has a program that offers free training for pilots to carry while flying. He's interested in taking them up on it, but needs to get a good handgun. He doesn't know much about weapons and I'm only a novice at best so we need some suggestions. I took him out this past weekend to shoot my Glock 19 and he liked it, but he thought the grip was a little wide. So, what's a good single stack 9mm for around $400 that's dependable? I found a Sig Sauer P250 for $407 at Bud's. It's received pretty good reviews from what I can find. Anyone have any experience with one? Any other weapons he should look at?
