Does anyone think Glock will take the G36 and make it a 10mm? Will the new XDs ever be set up for a 10mm.

Anyone make a custom slim 10mm?

At the end of the day, I guess if you want a small 10mm, that why they have the 40.

I was thinking about a small striker fire gun.

I wonder if a G29 barrel could be modified to work in the G36? I'm not sure how different they are. If that works, you should be able to bend the feed lips on a G36 mag to make it hold 10mm, it wouldn't take much.

That's probably your only option for a single stack 10mm Glock though. I doubt Glock will make one in 10mm.

Ok got me thinking, and that is dangerous. The 29 and the 30 frame are the same. The 30 frame will fit on a 36. So wouldn't a 36 frame fit on a 29 (or a 30).

I'm trying to decide between the G-20sf & the G-29sf. The differences in length are the 20 is ~1" longer and the 20 weighs 3oz more, and also ~1" greater in height. I'm not so much concerned with using it for concealed carry. Some people have told me the 20 is much better at handling the recoil than the 29. Is this difference significant enough to make anyone choose the G-20 over the G-29? Any and all thoughts are welcome. Thank you!

I have both and to me the differences are minimal, especially if your decision is based on not carrying the weapon. I carry My G29SF with a 4.48" Storm Lake barrel and have the option of G20 or G29 mags for carry. It's essentially a G20 that I can "shorten" for carry by using the 10 round mags. The barrel length is of no concern since it's shoved down my pants. Grip length is the bigger factor IMO.

I own 4 of them. The OP was looking for slim single stack 10mm. I don't think the Smith's can be described as slim, but that's my opinion.

You're right, they are kind of thick for a single stack.

I guess I disagree as I find the S&W 3rd Generation 10MM/45ACPs' to be just about as thick as a1911 with regular grips.:dunno:
