First post, search function gave me repeated errors. Sorry if this is topic has been covered.

I have a G30 with night sights and a G30S with standard sights. I'd like to swap them. Is this possible? Can it be done by a user with a sight tool (me), or does this need to be at a glocksmith?

    Thanks! Ed

Yes, the G30 and 30s use the same sights. They are easy to change with a sight pusher like MGW's. If you are going to use a punch, be extremely cautious when you put the slide in a vice, the rails are easily damaged without the support of the frame.

@mtstream, that was so easy with the MGW and front sight tool that was gifted to me. Now my 23 and 30S have the night sights. I should order two more and put them on the lesser carried 30 and 19. Thanks for the simple and supportive advice. Ed
