I've been considering replacing the glock standard sights with night sights - and I've tried a couple already. What I'm hoping the GT experts can confirm for me is which sights use top of post ("shelf") as POA (and expected POI), and which have the front sight dot cover the POA? My research to date suggests that:
- trijicon (HD, and bright) sights use top of post. (any others?)
- most others have the dot cover / centered on the POA, like: ameriglo, Truglo, XS big dots
So is the above correct? I have 40 years of top of post experience / training and am hesitant to train to something else - but might consider it. Thx
