I have been trying to buy a P229 chambered in .357 without success for well over two months. Spoke with Exeter yesterday; I was told that Germany had informed them that they would no longer be providing them barrels in that chamber. Exeter is now trying to decide if they want to find another supplier or machine them on site.

Needless to say, this issue is really going to push out the backlog Sig.

Why not get the .40 and pick up one of the used .357 barrels listed for sale?

Get a 40 and a new barrel for it like others suggested. I did that for my 229 and 226 and P2K. Only my G32C came that way.

I don't know if they still do, but mine came with both.
