Yep, I bought one. Why? Because I picked it up and loved the feel of it in my hand. I got the full size gun. I prefer the 5" barrel. The Grips are grippy, feel good. No slipping or twisting. This is important to me as I get older and need a more aggressive grip to manage recoil. The days of the iron vise grip are past. The grip extends down past the mag housing, so you have a built in Magwell. It works and it is awesome. If you use a std mag with no bumper it will still work, you just have to be sure it is seated. I've probably have 4-500 rounds through it and it works just great. An easy shooter and very accurate. So far, it eats 230 FMJ, 230 lead round nose and various kinds of 185 lswc just fine. I was a bit worried about it eating my 185 lswc as I load them to the lowest reliable load (of course above the min of the manual). The gun is heavy with a big stainless slide and stainless frame, but it managed the lower power loads just as well as the factory loads. I've always liked a Flat Trigger and this one is just fine. Crisp, clean and light enough for me. (and I'm particular about my triggers.) I like the fact that it disassembles like a regular old 1911. I know I swore I'd never buy another 1911 type gun that wasn't a simple series 70 type gun, but I bought this one anyway. No issues so far. That's all I have for now. I read some of the other comments on this gun and there were plenty of shots at the look and feel. For me, it's beautiful and has been great. Still haven't figured out what holster I might use for it but I didn't buy it to carry so no rush.
