Well I have changed my negative opinion of the M17 since I handled several versions at the LGS. Really nice piece.
Also a few new M9A3 versions of the Beretta were in the LGS. Also very nice.
I have a Wilson customized M9 G model now, so I could hold off on the new M9, but the M17 is calling my name.
    Damn.

I like the M17 and will probably pick one up after the newness (and prices decline) wears off.

M17 feels like any ol 320 to me, plus an unnecessary (though well located and very usable) safety to me.

I'd probably still take one over a M9 myself, since I really dont like DA/SA.

If I was going to spend extra money on a 320, it'd definately be on a VTAC or XCarry. But that's just my opinion.

    Buy whatever you like.

I never cared for the P320 and since that I’m not in the service any more, the M17 doesn’t do anything for me either.

My Wilson tuned and converted 92G is by far my favorite handgun. My wife’s P320 is perfectly decent, at least as far as striker fired polymer pistols go.
