Looking at a Sig 228. How does it compare to a Glock 19/17 for concealed carry? How else do the two compare besides size? any and all info would be helpful, thanks

The 228 is slightly smaller than the G-17. The 228 is slightly larger than the G-19. I loved the 228, but I found that the G-19 conceals better.

The G19 is a better carry gun, IMO. It lighter and slightly smaller.

IMO the Sig 228 is a better shooter within 10 yards. The G19 from 10yds out blows any of my guns away. The G19 is easier to conceal but I like the trigger of the P228. The G19 is better priced and has more rounds in it's standard magazine. The controls on the P228 feels well executed. I like both because they are two totally different weapons. You shoot both first then make a decision. You won't go wrong with either but I would definitely shoot them first.
