The trailer looks really good. Wife and I were talking about it yesterday.

There are more movies out so far this year that I want to see than I remember wanting to see in a long time.

This one got good reviews. A friend and I were throwing around the idea of seeing it or Wolfman. Wolfman got lousy reviews.

Guy I know HATED this and said he was confused... makes sense if this is a "thinking" movie as he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. ;)

The book was excellent. If the movie can capture the same story line and gut feeling, it should be a winner

I will see anything Martin Scorsese puts out. Leonardo is a pretty good actor I think.

LOL, that's the same conversation my dad and I had yesterday. We saw Shutter's Island and both admitted to liking it, but both admitted we probably would have like The Wolfman better (both being huge fans of the original). I'm sure our wives preferred Shutter's Island more.

I saw it yesterday and was quite impressed.

Even at the end when everything is explained I still had a little lingering doubt as to what the truth actually was.

Buy hey! It's nothing an ice pick through the orbital lobe can't cure.

Not my favorite actor, but I do like many of the movies he is in.

And Scorsese is always worth a look.

DiCaprio has grown on me a bit over the years. He's a decent actor.

I saw both Shutter Island and the Wolfman...and I was not disappointed in either one. That could be because my expectations of Hollywood is so pathetically low, but I felt both were well done. The make-up effects of Wolfman were really good...very similar to what I remember from the original, but updated. Shutter Island is a good mind-screw with several paths the movie could go down at any given time. Not exactly what I expected, but still a good film.

    same as will smith,

he has become a great actor, nothing like fresh prince

Movie was boring and I wanted to walk out but I was with some other folk there who wanted to see it.

Relies heavily on long drawn out scenes that bore you to death. Leonardo is a good actor though.

Yep, the book was awesome. I'm hoping the movie is equally good. Might try and get a sitter this weekend and go see it.

I saw this movie today and also thought it was boring up until the end. Even then, the end left much to be desired. I think they could have went another ten minutes.

    .
I read the novel last month and wasn't that impressed with the writer. I thought it was predictable, and figured out the ending by page 50 or so.....But, I'll wait for the movie to be released on DVD, rent it for $1.08 at Redbox...
