A lot of the guns on here are nice guns, or high-end guns. I thought a BBQ gun was something glitzy, like a 38 super with a mirror polish and a portrait of Zapata on the grips.

That description is surely in the ballpark!

I am baffled too. I thought BBQ gun was one that was totally pimped out -as in Bond’s scuba tank in “Thunderball”.
If I use contrasting paint in the SN and caliber writing on my Glock ... is that pimp'd enough to qualify as a BBQ Gun?

Uberti el Patron CMS in an El Paso Saddlery Tom Threepersons holster. Once I replaced the “Installed for Importation” two-position base pin, this revolver became a treasure. It looks good and the trigger is really outstanding. The sights and the lowered hammer spur aren’t bad, either.
