When I was a young man I drove one of these. They have a big straight six, a 3 speed transmission and get about 16mpg. It's like driving a penalty box.:fist:

So, were you a letter carrier or did you buy a retired postal Jeep?

Not mine but my father's '94 that I drove for many years. It had a tree fall on it a couple of Summers ago so she got a facelift this year. IMG_0146.jpg IMG_0426.jpg IMG_0559.jpg IMG_20190824_163012.jpg

<<Mine's over there. Looks pretty much the same but I've got the whole rear-end out of it right now, needs everything! Also got the body off the front for paint next Summer. Needs a lot but in the end, it'll be worth it.

My 2015 Sport around the time I got it. This was last year somewhere out between Sierra Vista and Nogales, AZ.

Not mine anymore, I gave it to my Aunt who currently daily drives it. When it was my wife's daily driver we had absolutely no issues with it and my Aunt hasn't had any complaints either. I'd like to find a rusty one with a 5 speed as a winter daily.

Nice, these 2 door JLs really catch my eye. which grey is it? I am in love with the yellow, the mojito, the pumpkin, the drk blue, and the bikini blue! they nailed the colors on these new ones

I want one of these too... 5sp/4.0L. Something to just beat the snot out of.

    Hi Lowcountry,
    It's called sting-gray.
Originally I wanted a black wrangler, white was my second choice.
When I went to the dealer I saw the sting gray and thought, there's a rare color you don't see much.
Now that I've had it 5 months it seems every other wrangler out there is a sting gray.

    Nice jeeps guys.
I had a Sahara soft top for a couple years. Really enjoyed it. Can't remember the year. 2000 I think. It had the round headlights. Hope to find an old Willys someday.
