I have a g26 that I bought as a smaller carry gun when I am not carrying my g23. I find now that I never carry it,instead using a kahr when I need deep concealment.

    I already have a 2nd gen 19 and 23. I was thinking of trading the G26 for a 3rd gen 19.

Should I? think I will miss the G26?

Well, if you dont carry it the 26 is worthless in my opinion. Would much rather have a 17 or 19 over a 26 that was never carried. Sub compacts just arent much fun to shoot on a regular basis.

I owned both a G26 and G19 as well as a Kahr PM9. The G26 was sold to help fund other projects. The G19 and Kahr PM9 are both still around.

I have the exact same problem. I have a G26 that I really don't carry anymore since buying a SW 642 and when I want to switch it up I sport the G23 in a crossbreed supertuck.

Thinking of selling the G26 hopefully for about $450.00 and buying a LW 40-9 conversion for my G23 and taking the other $350.00 putting that down on a G21 so I will have access to 9mm, .40, and .45 calibers.

why not sell/trade the G26 for a G27? To me, that sounds like a good companion for when you aren't carrying your G23.

I have put allot of time and thought into the 26 vs 19 debate. I own both and like both of them. I do like the 19 more than the 26 though. I like the way it feels in my hand better, and im way more accurate with it. I do really like the 26 to just toss around though. I throw it in my glove box, gym bag, hiking pack etc. That being said I never ccw it over my pps and 19. If you dont do much with it anymore I would sale it or trade it.

I love my 19 but I would never part with my 26 and I have to respectfully disagree with you on the Glock 26 not being much fun to shoot on a regular basis... :wavey:

Never trade or otherwise part yourself from a G-26, just buy both.

While I like my 19, my 26 is a keeper among my collection of pistols. It's probably the most versatile handgun I own.

I have considdered this as well, but havent been able to "pull the trigger" on a trade in...I love my g26 and Im not sure what the guy who said sub compacts arent fun to shoot on a reg basis was talking about...I shoot mine twice a week and a few hundred rounds each time...personally I am thinking about a g23 next, with a lw barrel for shooting 9mm...I have reloading equipment for both 9mm and 40, and I am starting to like the 40 more and more...

    Well Stated.

The 26 can do anything the 19 can! And you can't make the 19 smaller for carry. True, you have the Khar, but I wouldn't be selling the 26 for a 19. Perhaps a 19C (for some real fast, fun shooting) or 27 (for increase in firepower at the loss of a single round of capacity).

Since I am now multi-caliber, the only Glock I will never sell is my G27. I can shoot 9mm and 40 with the conversion, and it will do anything I may need a larger Glock to do for me. If I only shot the 9mm, I would feel the same about my 26.

Good shooting in this video although the handling made me cringe. You know, all those silly rules about pointing the gun in a safe direction etc.

I just purchased the 19 after comparing both of them at the gun shop. My wife and I both handled them, and she even agreed that she would like the 19 more. We bought the 19 and absolutely love it. I am going to purchase a quality IWB to make it my primary carry. For now I'm carrying the Kel Tec PF9... I would go with the 19 - you won't regret it!

Never trade or sell a gun that serves a good purpose.

I tend to rotate between my G19, G26 & PM 9 for carry, but like a boomarang I end up back at the G26 more that anything.
