Great pistol. I prefer the 92fs over the M9 personally.
Stuck with the military TDP, the M9 hasn't enjoyed the same tweaks over the years as the 92FS. I prefer the 92FS traditional 3-dot sights, as it's what I'm used to. But the "snowman" sights are surprisingly easy to pick up. As a daily duty pistol I'd probably prefer an A1 or M9A3.
I installed the D spring along with steel guide rod, mag catch, and aluminum lanyard loop yesterday. The metal mag catch operates noticeably smoother and more positive. The D spring makes a noticeable difference. The DA trigger pull is noticeably lighter, but not light. Just about perfect. This should be the default spring in all 92's, IMHO.
LGS has a 92fs priced at $629. I'm thinking that's about $50 high?
Yes about a year ago. No as of right now.
