Thinking of adding an od framed g17 to the family. Does the od frame show wear alot worse than the black frames? I think it's about time to go green!! Anyone else with me??

If you need another one anyway then why not? I think the OD looks good.

My next Glock will be an OD G19. Ed's is sold out, so I have to wait.

I have a small collection of 17s so I will have to add one to it. Otherwise black is my choice.

Sure, why not? I think it changes things up a bit. I'm planning on it as soon as I go to get my 26.

I was the other way around. Didn't like them in pictures but once I saw one in person... If you like the way it looks then you might as well go for it.

You do not need justification nor approval from us!
In answer to your question: Yes you absolutely need an OD Glock in your stable or it is ALL for not! Sure Black goes with everything and is easy to accessorize but Olive Drab is Tactical and Life IS a Tactical Exercise.

I have yet to see an online picture that looks like they do in real life. I had an OD 27. It was closer to a coyote tan than to OD. Traded it to a friend on the way to the middle east and replaced it with a black one. Never like the black one as well, so I've got a replacement OD 27 with orange night sights ordered. I can't see my duty weapon being OD, but I like my 27's that way.
