Well I'll honestly bring it but it's definately sitting in the trailer opening day. I am going to give it an honest effort so I'm not bringing it out.

Just mounted the scope tonight and bore sighted it. Without the scope I was ok at 25-30 yards. I will go out to the range and if all goes well at 50 yards I'm good to go. I never have a clear shot past 40-50 yard because of the brush around my stand anyways.

Ruger Super Blackhawk Stainless with a 7 1/2" Barrel
Burris 2x7 Handgun Scope with Posi-Lok

It's a 44 Rem Mag. Forgot to mention it because I forget the now offer it in 41 Rem Mag and 45 Colt now.

I've been thinking about getting either the 41 or 44 Mag. What made you choose the 44? Was it the only one available?

I used to have the same Ruger only it had a 10-1/2” barrel… I miss that gun… sold it to a guy I worked with that wanted to take it with him on a polar bear hunt…

I’d like to have another, but red-dot scopes (or the like) only for my hunting pistols…

I do most of my deer hunting with a TC Contender Super 14 in .44 mag.

It's good out to 100 yards or so.

I also carry a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 mag as back up.
