    Agree. I use a slip-on Limbsaver on my 12 gauge and it makes a huge difference in felt recoil.

    You bet! I first discovered the LS pads for my 7mm Rem Mag. They came standard on it some years back. Having some issues with shoulders at times, but this pad took it all away. I put close to 60rds at one setting through that 7mm Mag (long story) and felt as though I had not even shot the gun. I have never seen a recoil pad absorb shock/punch like these Limb Savers... I'm NOT recoil shy, but if I can spare an old sore shoulder, I will.. Ha.

    Why does it have to be 12g?

    Totally willing to accept "Because I want a 12g"

    But what are you going to do with a 12g that a 20g won't do? I'm a fan of the 1100/11-87 option if shoulder is the issue.

    Or get a 12g and an Ibuprofen 800
