Is there a rack or mount that can be screwed to a wall in a bedroom where you can secure your shotgun until you need it?

I don't want to just put it behind the door. I'd like to have it secured in a manner that others can't get to it but I could quickly.

    Thanks

I got mine above the door :) pretty cool setup. basically open the closet door and look directly up...youd not even know it was there unless I told ya :) nice thing its out of kids reach as its above the door and I can keep it loaded. I just improvised a rack out of some wood (scraps) and felt.

My only issue with this is a curious kid could easily get a chair and then the gun is within reach...

Google shotgun wall mounts. There's some nice ones that let you lock a shotgun in a rack vertical or horizontial so only you can get to it. A friend of mine has one in his office at the retail store he owns. Keeps the key in his pocket. He also keeps a .44spl under the cash register. Come to think of it there's a AK in the closet in his office...

my kid does not even know its there. nor have I told him BUT he would not mess with it anyways he is good about that...ive told him any time he wants to look at or handle any of the guns even if its just to "check them out" all he has to do is ask and he can...that took all the "curiosity" out of it for him since he knows he can do it anytime. and in our bedroom it would take some serous maneuvering to get something in there like a chair..but I could see how you would be concerned...if you really are throw a lock on it like a trigger lock or one of those gunlocks with the wire through it and put it through the shell ejector and then flip up where you load or something...maybe something like this??

SHOTGUN!! IT'S A FREAKING SHOTGUN!! SAY IT WITH ME, S-H-O-T-G-U-N!!!

p.s. your pants should ride on top of your hips, the bill of your ball cap should face the front, and the only thing you should refer to as "dog" should have 4 legs and a muzzle.

One of our dressers in the bedroom sits off the @3" due to a base
board heater. I put 2 hanger on the back of the dresser and it hangs
18" away yet 100% out of sight.

This is just another reason that we need to teach children to use and respect guns. Then they will not be curious about them!

Those posted by E-2-E look interesting. I want to be sure that when I am out of the house, the gun is locked up in some manner. I at least want to slow down the theif . I do have a safe but would like to have the gun available without re-storing it in the safe each day.

Any one use Mossberg's Loc-Box or Santa Cruz gun lock?
