shot timer?

    what is the standard?

    I am in the market for one. couple friends and I are going to start timing ourselves.

    I didn't know anything about them. A year or so ago I searched around and bought what seemed a good timer for the money, a CED7000.
    I've been happy with it. Used it today.:)

    I like using the timer. Like holes in paper you can see what you are doing, not what you think you are doing.

    CED7000 is the way to go. Easy to use and full featured.

    If you have an Iphone you can download some for free. I haven't tried them yet but I've downloaded two different one. I had a pocket pro and liked it. Give the app timer a try if you have a Iphone.

    As Brad stated, if you have an iPhone download ShotTimer by Surefire...I have used it and it's pretty accurate. I use it for practice on an indoor range when I am the ONLY one in the lanes. It picks up others if it is a crowded day but I would think the other timers might do that as well, not sure.

    All timers will pick up other shooters at an indoor range. I have the Surefire app and it works well but the buzzer is very quiet.
