Let me just say that was fun. I took a 19 and my new 23 to the range. I started off with the 19 which I am used to. It went well, the same as it always has. Then I shot the 23. Wow, there is a difference. The 40 has a lot more snap than the 9mm. It made for tougher follow up shots, but once i get used to it it should be fine. I also noticed a significant amount more muzzle flash. Plus, it is an indoor range, and the bullets spark off the back wall. The 40 has a much bigger spark. I did have 2 FTEs but i am sure they were my fault. There is a slightly different break point in the trigger, and I caught myself anticipating the recoil a few times. I am going to have to work on my trigger control and grip. Overall, very accurate, and fun to shoot. I had a few strays from anticipating recoil, but my groups were 3 inches at 25 feet. I am missing about an inch left and an inch up from point of aim, but that still had me in the ring most of the time. Thanks all, Now I just have to wait for my G38 to show up and go compare all three at the range.
