I was at the range finalizing some loads fot my T3 in .243 and I think I have them nailed. This one measured .081 center to center Load: 43.9gr IMR 4064, 55gr Noslet BT, CCI 200 This one measured .308 center to center same load as above This one measured .312 center to center Load: 37.3gr IMR 4064, 85 gr Nosler Partition, CCI 200 I'm really impressed with this little rifle
Tikka makes a great shooting rifle. Try the 85gr Sierra BTHP. You'll be amazed at the accuracy you can get from that load. And you'd be surprised at how hard they put down deer and hogs.
Have you tried grouping the 95 and 100gr bullets? I love the .243 round, wish I haven't sold my Mossberg 800b years ago. (again)
This rifle doesnt like 95-100gr anything I've tryed several and could barely get an inch out of them but it loves the 55-85gr stuff.
My uncle hunts exclusivley with Sierra Gamekings because they are so accurate. The terminal ballistics on the SGK gets a lot of mixed reviews from being too explosive to not expanding at all. He has had good luck with them but, with this kind of accuracy from a bullet not known for accuracy, I'll stick to my Partitions. Sierra does make some damned accurate stuff though.
Maybe someday if you try real hard you will get some good groups out of it. I suggest Removing and remounting the scope. That should fix everything.
