Shooting Tips for my G19

    So I've put 1100 rounds through my new G19 its my first gun, I'm not bad but im no top shot by any means any tips for a first time shooter?

    As he said, shoot more. Sometimes shooting with others can help. Obviously professional instruction can be great. Best of luck.

    Congrats! The 19 is an excellent first handgun. As mentioned, range time and instruction will do you well. Enjoy and be safe.

    That one really opened my eyes when I recently went from one-handed revolver to two-handed pistol shooting :)

    Trigger control.........

    It doesn't matter how good I am at grip/sight aligment/sight picture.... if I screw up the trigger press, it all goes out the window.

    Those videos are good. Key is you have to practice real life scenarios over and over and over. Just going to the range and popping off rounds isn't enough. Anyone can shoot a 1inch hole at 7yards. My instructor forced stress on me while I shot. It's a huge benefit I tell yah...

    big deal, he was hired by Blackwater...because of his experience as Force Recon, that's a big deal.

    Dry Fire helps too. Even if I'm at that stage where I can dry fire without my sights moving soon as I go to live rounds I'm not as steady.
