i learned that you can do this by buying and installing a KKM brand barrel into a G27. it says that it is longer the the nose of the gun, so it does protrude some. my question is: Have any of you experienced "Glockers" out there ever tried this? i am interested in the accuracy, and reliability of this setup. it will be used just for the range, 9mm is cheaper :), but when carrying (of course) i will use the .40SW barrel, which is the real reason for buying.

    thanks for your feed back

Shouldn't be a problem. Lots of folks use aftermarket barrels to shoot another caliber out of their pistol. You'll need different magazines if you want proper functioning and changing out the ejector would be a good idea. KKM makes quality parts.

Yup. Works fine, done it many times. POI was a bit different with my G23 with the 9mm barrel. This bugged me so I eventually sold the 9mm barrel.

1000+ rds through G27 and G22 (Using appropriate G17/G26 Mags) no problems at all. POA did not change for me in the least and I've had no malfunctions. FWIW both of my 9mm conversion bbls are Federal Arms.
