Curious my understanding is for handguns if you are not a FFL you have to ship overnight which is like $60. How are some of these guys on there that are not FFL only charging $25 for shipping? Am I missing something I don't know?

    Thanks

They may be getting their local dealer to act as the shipper.

This is what I do. I don't do it often because it's a PITA--I had my FFL sit on one pistol for more than a week before he shipped it, and the high bidder was a bit irritated--and I don't blame him--but there wasn't a whole lot I could do. If you don't have your own dealer FFL and want to do this, find a good one to ship for you.

And $60 seems a bit low, especially if you're shipping something like a Sig P220 insured properly. That runs upwards of $75-$80 via UPS overnight.

He is a buddy. He can ship USPS for $10-15. I give him $25 and he keeps what's left.
