Can anyone clear this up? I live in Kansas, if I sell a handgun to someone outside of the state, I must either mail it to that person's
FFL or have my local FFL mail it to the out-of-state person's
FFL --- has anyone found a way to keep costs down? The cost of sending a handgun overnight through UPS is around %45- $50, do most of you use a friendly FFL (who can use the USPS) ---if so, what do they charge? I have had offers from folks out-of-state, and usually the shipping costs kill the deal, either I absorb the shipping or the buyer does, and it is usually so high that neither party would want to continue the transaction... I price my stuff at rock bottom to move it, so an additional $50 on my side doesn't work...and the seller, sensing a deal, sees not so much of a deal when $50 more bucks are added in....Thanks... Dave
