Let's say I do buy a bike off ebay. How much does it cost to get it here?...on average?

    Thanks!

Kind of hard to tell. I shipped my BMW from Albuquerque out to Los Angeles for $250. It depends on whether or not the courier already has a run to your area planned or it has to make a special run for your bike only. This is the joint that I used.

You also might want to try www.uship.com it is a sight for putting shippers and loads together, whether the load is large or small.

I used ForwardAir to get my bike from NC to Oregon-- about $500. Steel shipping container, no problems.

When I sold my RD350 the guy that bought it set up the shipping and it was $750 from western NY to San Fran. This was with a company the specialized in shipping bikes.
