Since you need to change my wording to 'conspiracy'-I think you need the deep breath.

Wow. Sent a pm like 5 seconds after your post and never got a reply. All the guys buying a bunch of these are the reason some of us can’t get 1 or 2.

Like the guy who bought one and ended up selling it because they didn't own a 43X/48.

I got no reply as well after my last PM agreeing to asking price.

I’m in no rush though. Just want a couple for range mags.

A quick Shield S15 mag review. Got the mags (2) past Saturday. Took them to the range yesterday. Fired about 140 rounds - mix of Win NATO ball, Fed 124 +P HST, Speer G-D 124 +P and Underwood (G-D) 124 +P+. I mixed full mag, ten rounds, six rounds and three rounds. Used "sling-shot" (my preferred method) and slide stop lever to close slide. Fired five yard three shoot fast drill (~.2 splits), fifteen yard slow fire 4" head shot drill.

The ONLY "malfunction" was slide-lock on last round was random - hit or miss. I took the mags apart and did a "tactical" field spring stretch. Seemed to work. Got home and put in the "plus 10%" springs I ordered with the mags. Seems to work. We'll see Thursday.

I think the folks from Flathead Lake have done a good job with the mags. They look good and work well - so far. I'll go back to the range Thursday and give them a similar run with the new springs. Last note: failure to lock back on the last round is no big deal for me. Two of my all time fav carry guns (Detonics Combat Master and a Colt Lightweight Officers) were always a little iffy on last round lock back - even with Wilson 47's.

I've been waiting for the 3 pack + mag release to be back on sale... It's hasn't been and they raised the price from ~$125 to ~$140. They have priced themselves out of my interest. Maybe in a year or two if the prices come down.

NO, I don't have pics... Disabled that function about 10 years or so ago or something, cause I'm not on GT much anymore last number of years...

For those of you who are worried, or freaked out about your SA mags not dropping free, and turning to the "hair dryer and tape method," I got better news for you. "Because I am NOT a fan of the hairdryer and tape method..."

    "Blaster, Silicone Lubricant.."

#1. Clean the heck out of the new mags. They usually drop free after that.
#2. If yours don't, then here is the simple 'country boy' way to fix it..
#3. Simply take a can of silicone spray, and spray it on a T-shirt type patch. Not, on the mag.
#4. Wring it out. Not dripping.
#5. Lightly wipe down the "clean" mags, and give a few wipes all over, (except the follower).
#6. Stand them up, and go away for 30 minutes.
#7. Take the 'same cloth,' and reach up in the mag well with your finger and wipe it down.
#8. Come back in 30 minutes.

Your all done. Problem solved ! No tape and hair dryer! It is NOT the heat that concerns me with the hair dryer method. It gets "very hot," here in the west Texas desert, and the heat in Iraq tops that. The thing i don't like, is the (even though minute), the mag well, being made that tiny bit larger from the tape and stretching, if you will... 'Very minute', I get that! But, then the OEM mags have lost their, "more snug fit," if i can say it that way... (let the reader understand).

Some won't agree, that's great. Not on here to win approval. But I do know, that the above method with the silicone spray and cloth etc... Works ! Worked for me with these two sticking mags. No more sticking. They fly out.

I have both the 43X and the 48. "Today," was the 48's turn! But the two mags 'for him' stuck.
After mag catch replacement with the SA aluminum catch, I did the above, and all is well.

Also, for those freaked out about, "Can't find mags....." Ya lived this long without 'em, just be patient another week or two, and they will be in stock at SA again. Understand, there are a cazillion people and vendors, and big sporting goods companies, that all have orders in for these.
SA, is small, buy most standards. They are really humping it, to get all this done, "AND," with mags that work and function 100%.

    So, "CHILL," Guys! ;)
    It's all good.

Do what ya want, the way ya want to, but out here we always look for the most simple way to fix everything, without having to make to many changes if any...

Wasn't going to jump in on all this again, but maybe this will help.

Dang, and i don't even like 9mm much! I'm all in on 45! :headscratch:

    Stay safe !

    Adios....

Brownells has backorder open last I checked, Shield Arms does as well with a set of rules for the backorder.

I picked up two the last time Shield Arms had them in stock. Picked up my new 43x after valentines day. I wanted to replace my m&p shield for awhile now, but never found a good enough reason to till the mag for the 43x.

Hopefully will be able to get out of work long enough to put some rounds through it.

Only testing I have done is insert empty mags into. All insert and drop the same with factory mag catch. Will install the shield arms catch next.
