Thank you. About how many rounds? Hollow points? Do you have the metal mag catch?

Oh yea, that is another thing. Most people are shooting FMJ ammo through these, which is what I use for practice too, but what matters is how they perform with various JHP ammo.

At least you know you have goodies waiting when you get better.

Get well and go test those mags.

Finally got a chance to use mine, with the metal catch. 275 rounds of mixed and random hp's. HST 124+p, HST 147+p, Ranger 127+p+, Underwood XTP 147+p, UMC 115 hp, and some Barnes Tac XP 115 +p. All ran perfectly. I have 3 mags, no issues and all always dropped free. I have not tried the +5 mag extensions yet. I wanted to make sure the mags worked in standard configuration first.
Based on other tests I've watched, along with my own experience, I'm good to go with these mags.

Update on my initial issue of the slide not locking back on the last round. Talked to shield arms and they sent me a new follower and their 10lb power spring. I went ahead and got the aluminum mag catch to eliminate that becoming an issue. Put another 350 rounds through it included a box HST 124 JHP and the mag did everything it’s supposed to do. I will likely buy more but I’ll include the $2.98 spring as well. Apparently they have a “gen 2” follower that seems to help but the new spring in imo seems to due the trick. It’s the one they send if you get the +5 extension

Will newer versions of the magazine come with the updated spring, or is that always going to be an add on?

I’m not sure, I emailed them yesterday asking that but haven’t heard back. I’ll post if they include those going forward. I kinda doubt it, but I’ll spend the Extra couple bucks to add them.
