Shield Arms says it’s coming. Just got an email from them.

    S15 - Glock® 43X / Glock® 48 Compatible Magazine
After the folding lower, we will be launching the Standard 15 (S15) magazine. Yes it's real, and yes it's really coming. In case you missed it, the S15 is a flush-fitting 15 round magazine for the Glock® 43X and Glock® 48. The magazine is currently at tooling, and we are still on track for a summer release.

For $39.99 it probably won't be coming to my house unless real world pricing is around $25.

Very cool, I'd love to see 9 or 10 rounds in the G43. That would be a P365 killer. Only reason I haven't sold my G43 yet, just in case they come out with something reliable.

Flush-fitting 9 rounder for G43, if they can make it reliable, would be great.
Mec-Gar should be able to make such a magazine...

I'm good with 10 for carry, maybe range fun, but then I only load 5 at the range so I can spend more fun time, and slow down.

Wonder if it will require a metal mag catch?

I would think so as it's going to be a metal mag.

$40 is too much to spend for 50% more ammo on hand? Provided these prove to be reliable, this setup could be a game changer for me.

If it needs a metal catch, will that catch chew up the polymer OEM mags?

Factory mag catch's are dirt cheap, no real sense going with a metal one. Replace it a regular interval if need be and one should be fine.

If these work the question will be why didn’t Glock do it?

Glock uses polymer mags on polymer mag catches on polymer pistols. The only reason they use polymer over steel now is the feed lips would wear on the older versions.

My P226 mags are as narrow as a G48 mag.

The magazine design is one of Glocks advantages and disadvantages.
