I wish Fox News would fire Shepard Smith.
That is all.
Been discussed here more times than I can remember.
I fired the azzclown after the first 3 minutes I watched him.
Or fire on him .
Yeah.... he's kind of a toad.
How can it be "fair and balanced" without a fair representation of an actual balance of opinions?
Fair and unbalanced show.
FoxNews isn't any more on your side than Sheppard Smith is, OP.
Hey, "unbalanced" can be entertaining for viewers. It can be quite eloquent in its mania.
One of the great examples of the doctrine of "I don't know what it is or how to define it, but I know it when I see it." things ...
Me too, but I guess Fox has to have a few token Liberals.
not that there's anything wrong with that...
His existence at FOX has continued to be s mystery for most of us. He simply doesn’t belong!
I wish they would all report the news as factually as possible and leave the opinion and commentary to the commentators and opinionators.
MSNBC, CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC ….would then have about 20 minutes of programming per week.
Kidding? You know who controls Fox news now, right?
They are just biding their time and doing the math to see how much of the cash cow they are willing to lose to support their beliefs.
Wait!?! But then what would all the wannabe actors do if they just read news script and stated facts?!?
I mean, after all, often the "leading news" for some just-occurred event is really short on facts, but has to fill airtime and print space with commentary, opinion, speculation, interviewing inconsequential people who have just as few facts, etc.
How many advertisers would pay big bucks for a news program that lasted a whole 10 minutes? They seem willing to pay for airtime when it's opinion and editorializing being broadcast because they know people will always eagerly listen to opinions and commentary with which they agree, even if facts sometimes get in the way or have to be sublimated to opinion and feelings ...
Maybe we're no longer the original Pepsi Generation, but are now the Jaded Generation?
Yes...and Fox had better have their ducks in a row...he is a member of a growing and very vocal segment of society...cannot simply fire him w/o a whole bunch of documented "cause"
Well, with all the trending focus on harassment claims and slips-of-the-tongue that let out some earthshaking non-PC word or bias against the wrong sub-groups, nowadays it's probably just a matter of time before someone caught up in their own righteous zeal and the throes of piousness lets something slip out in front of on-air viewers.
It's not that networks may have to sit back and wait to see if an opportunity is presented to them by the employee, but seemingly more a fear of wondering when it's going to happen.
Maybe some slight "coaxing" in the teleprompter feed when on-air, knowing how the talking head will probably pick up the unexpected ball and run with it?
In the meantime, let the left leaning lemmings flock and follow (which isn't a real thing, anyway ) ...
I think Gio has boinked Sheps brains out.
