    Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen

“Denise gets $52,000 a month tax-free in child support,” a Sheen insider tells Page Six.
    Dang.

The report states that in addition to the child support, Richards got $60,000 a month in alimony (also tax-free) for two years. Richards also gets a sizable portion of Sheen’s “Two and a Half Men” earnings, which “eventually will net her up to $25 million,” according to the source.

I would have to make some budget cuts, reduce my expenses a little bit (cheaper beer and cutting out newspaper coupons), but think I could scrape by on 60 large a month.

I guess she must already have he stash of ammo stockpiled in the back room of her mobile home, and is taking up reloading to help keep ammo costs under control.

The guy makes $825,000 per episode of "Two and a Half Men". It's just a drop in the bucket.

I guess he should be playing his brother's character on two and a half men. On a serious note, I know someone who is giving 40% of their yearly income to child support. He has to get rid of his house, and sell a bunch of things to be able to live.

I pay 90% of my net W2 income in child support. If it wasn't for the various side jobs (which all pay 1099) I'd starve.

+1. I feel much less sorry for Charlie Sheen than I do the poor shmuck who makes 30k and is trying to pay child support on two kids and still eat.

I remember a conversation I had with I can only describe as the dumbest man in the world. I don't call him that because of this conversation but, it helped.

Him: Man, I got screwed on this child support.
Me: How much do you pay, if you don't mind me asking?
    Him: 'bout 900 a month.
Me: Jesus! How many kids do you have?
    Him: Six
Me: How long were you married (doing math at 9 months per kid, he's like 24)
Him: Oh, I've never been married they were just girlfriends
Me: How many girlfriends are we talking about here?
Him: Three, two kids each (the line from Fight Club goes through my mind "he's setting up franchises")
Me: You've got six kids with three women and you only pay 900 a month?
    Him: Yeah
Me: (Doing math in my head) That's what? A buck fifty a month per kid?
Him: I don't know, I never thought about it.
Me: You can't even feed a kid for 150 dollars a month much less anything else. Jesus!
    Him: ..... blink .... blink
Me: Do you know what makes women have babies?
    Him: ..... blink .... blink

In his defense, he spent every minute he wasn't working trying to spend time with all of his kids. He was determined to be a good dad, in spite of himself.

I used to make a little over 120k on average, now I make about 30, and the child support was worked out from my old wages. I pay about 1200 and honestly, my ex wife doesn't work so if I didn't pay it my kids would probably starve. I'd rather work a couple of side jobs than worry about whether my kids have enough to eat.

Can you not get the amount reduced by the court due to your lower income? If she's not working and you're providing 90% of their income I would try to get custody since she obviously is not capable of providing for the children. If she doesn't want that she needs to accept a lower level of support and get a job.

Where would my kids live if the ex couldn't pay her rent?

My guess would be: Yes, he can but, for some reason he chooses not to.

Thats women for ya. The further I go in life the less respect I have for women. There are good women out there, but they are one in a thousand. The ones I have met have all been b@&$s, sluts and golddiggers.

I'd rather have them live with me than keep the ex up because she won't work. I'm really not trying to give you a hard time-you sound like a good dad but dang I hate to see anyone get bent over like that by an ex.

Life seldom deals you the cards "you'd rather."
