I know there is a way but I have no idea what that way is. Someone told me it was by using an exchange server and I have a copy of that software but no idea how to do it. Anyone know how?

Exchange Server is far too complicated to explain in a post. Every user has to be able to connect to the server machine, they must all have Outlook installed and an account configured on the server. Exchange is only used for fairly large corporations, etc. Has no real place in the consumer/small business arena.

If you're serious about it, you'll need a test server, a good book, and a decent chunk of time.

Might be easier to look into something like this:
