Its not a matter of whether the red flag laws are needed or not, and we really DONT need these useless laws, mainly because we already know that it will never fix the problem. They are only bringing up these laws and passing them to make themselves look relevant to the dumb and misinformed voters. Feel good laws an all ya know. Whatever they need to do to get elected, or to stay in power, they will continue down this path of ignorance because we have dumb voters that are still allowed to vote with no brains (or education on the "real problem") to know the difference. I`m pretty sure i`m not telling you anything that you dont already know though. Never let a crisis go to waste... it has electibility`s built into it. Just ask any democrat.

Democrats love tragedy... it is the fuel that feeds their cause.

Guns work well for killing people, can't really deny that.

In my last role before retiring, the Companies new owners put NO WEAPONS signs up on all my facilities without even a discussion with any of the people responsible for those plants.
During Exec meetings at Head Office the HR. Health & Safety and Risk Management teams rolled out their convoluted plan to handle active shooters.
    You guys know the drill:
    1 Hide (shelter in place)
    2 Run
3 Fight only as a last resort

Two of us at this meeting were / are practiced combat shooters and picked them apart (professionally of course).

It was not appreciated. Bottom line was it was a legal and insurance decision. The foreign owners were more concerned over avoiding a potential lawsuit than really protecting their people. They basically admitted it.
    They were papering their backside.

If the ID on the shooter I just saw is accurate, they'll be burying this PDQ and putting a heavy rock on top.

    yep, nuff said.

edit: you changed it. Well, it's worth saying that the demographic ID of the shooter should make no difference to the story, but to the media it obviously does and will. Seen it over and over again.

Another place I worked part time we treated employment firings extremely carefully and having two heavily armed off duty cops was a big deterrent. Generally tho most places pay so low and treat security so bad one has to wonder why'd you'd ever risk anything for anyone. If they are even armed in the first place.

These people could have been saved if they had to right people there, were willing to pay them, and they had the right skill set. The day of, and the few days after, a firing are critical to keep an eye out for trouble. Just seeing the people on the property is ground to take action even if all they are doing is trespassing cause they are warned not to come back without authorization.

I dont know the details but I can make an informed guess. Pity.

They did the same for us in our own courtrooms...only the Baillifs were allowed to openly carry, and at that time, our Bailiffs were frequently those who were incompetent on the street or the walking wounded...sheesh, what does it take to wake the heck up?!

But then a witness heard shots fired so who knows what the true story is.

Unless people are allowed to fight back not much can be done regarding these mass shootings. He gained entry by taking the ID badge from an employee.

Murderers are not concerned with obeying suppressor tax stamp laws or any gun laws.
