It's a pretty good read from the perspective of a sports competitor. Apparently, the GAP holds up fine. Robin Taylor, the author, actually took the pot with the fastest "bowling pin table clear" with 3.26 seconds using a G37. She said, "the GAP's credentials immediately went up by leaps and bounds". The Glock 37 picked up some respect since it's as easy to handle as a Glock 9mm pistol, and it tames the .45 bullet nicely. The recoil was slightly more than the G21 in this test. Yet, one of the testers ended up siding with the G37 and stated, The Glock 21 is so big, it didn't flow well. The GAP had the characteristics I wanted: big bullet, manageable. Another tester said, In a 10-round world, I could see why a person would go with that [Glock 37] and he picked up some respect for the Glock 37 after shooting it --- previously he had considered it a solution to a non-existent problem.
