I have a 2nd generation glock 19. I love it and have never had a problem with it. Last week the slide release spring broke. My local gun dealer sent it back to glock to be repaired. My question is how long should this take. Also has anyone sent thier gun back to glock and was there anything else they did to the gun.....Bee

Find a new dealer. That's a $7.00 part and a 5 minute job (sorry, I'm a bit slow).

I am not sure on the turn around time at Glock.
But I do know that you need a new place to take youre pistol.
It took longer to package the pistol for shiping than it would take to fix it. 5-7 minutes Tops. Add another 3 minutes and get a 3.5 lb connector.
