Have G22 Gen 2 with 100 RBDs through it. Looks and behaves like new. Called Glock today and they suggested sending in for upgrading to 2012 from 1994. Would ya do it? What work can I expect from them? Thx

I would expect that they will inspect and replace most all the internals (springs and possibly connector, extractor and ejector) at minimal to no cost to you other than the shipping. You get a like new G22 at minimal cost. Why not?

    Looks and behaves like new?
And why do you want to mess with that again? LOL!
If it's not broke, don't fix it.

I'd throw a new recoil spring in at most and forget sending it to Glock.

This and for Gods sake if you do decide to send it in do as Doughtman suggests remove and keep your original machined Extractor. If you do send it in it will come back with a MiMed extractor, you wont be able to easily replace your original parts.
If it were me I would Not send it,just take it out and shoot it,Enjoy ! SJ 40

Thanks ... Consensus says it all! Why would I argue with a Moderator?? So that leaves me one question on the recoil assembly ...

Isn't like new...like new? Run it until you have problems, unless it's a carry gun.

They will also send the parts to a local certified glock armorer for free. That way you can decide which parts you actually want to upgrade.

Made a visit to Smyrna about 3 weeks ago for night sights on 3 older Glocks. Asked the tech not to touch the ejectors or extractors. He offered to do the upgrades and said he would return the old parts. :)

I even got an older style cast LCI extractor for my 2nd Gen 21. Wow, I didn't even know they had those in stock.
