I hope he goes for it. I know people are going to say he's not qualified because of his past and things he might have done. But he's a rock star, not a phony politician that's been groomed since birth, so we'll expect some skeletons in his closet.
I like a politician who will honestly stand up for the people and not one with a great ability to BS everyone.
There have been many other senators with questionable backgrounds and credentials. Al Franken and Mrs. Clinton pop in my head pretty quickly. With Ted, you would definitely know what you're getting. Could you imagine McCain telling him "son, that's not the way we do it here"? LOL.
Sounds exactly like something that could have been said about Trump 2 years ago. I think Trump won mostly because he was not a politician.
If Al Franken or Maxine Water or the "Island will tip over" guy can; why not Ted?
For those that have never seen this great polition, one of the
best of the dimocraps.
Rep. Johnson, Guam will Tip over and capsize because of Marine Corps

Yep, a glowing example of the Ga public school system.
Oh man! I'd re-direct my reparations dollars to see THAT on pay-per-view! Except he wouldn't say "son", Johnny-boy would use "my friend" the way he always does.
Not sure he is electable. I do know 2 things, though. Since Trump won they will throw everything including the kitchen sink at the midterm elections. Ted can't be worse than Franken. If Ted gets elected he has to filibuster something anything, it would be hilarious imagine some of his song's on the Senate floor.
They would chew him up and spit him out. Don't do it, Uncle Ted!! If you're on FB, his feed is great................. sometimes even free, short concerts!
Great correction. You also have to use the McCain voice.
NEVERRRRRRRRR!!! Just kill me if I do!
What if they drafted him to serve in the Senate? Would he try to dodge it?
I hate to see any gun owner and hunter go through all the personal attacks, embarrassments, and humiliations Ted would go through. He needs to stick to hunting. I wouldn't mind seeing him in the Senate, and I am not one to cower over the whole "he's not electable" thing. I just hate to see that happen to decent people.
That's a legitimate and kind thought for any "decent" person running for office, and I agree. I've seen Ted in some debates, and he is no slouch. If he were to run, I think he's got tough skin and could handle and respond right back to any BS. Much like the "thin skinned, so they said" President Trump has done, both before and after the election. It is such a shame that anyone running, especially from the right, has to have so much crap thrown at them. But, if you read of elections, even in the 1800's, it got down and dirty. Just less media.
I believe Ted would turn them wrong side out, none of them
has been able to keep up with him on any debate that I
