I am considering getting rid of my last .45...I hate the idea but with carpal tunnel it becomes miserable to have any extended shooting with it anymore. I can tolerate 9mm and a little of my .40, just not the 45.

This begs the question of 1) are there folks interested in quality SD .45 (think mostly Ranger and HST), and 2) how to ship. From what I can see it would have to go UPS or FedEx with proper labeling but is there anything else I should know?

Once I have the answers I would offer the ammo for sale here first. All were bought several years ago kept in my safe and (most likely) all in 50 round boxes so no doubt in pristine condition.

That isn't an option for the foreseeable future with my semi-retirement work and needing all fingers at the keyboard. If it was an option I would sit on it all and see what happens. Unfortunately I hate having something sitting around gathering dust when I could get another 9mm to shoot and enjoy....but I understand your sentiment!

How about a nice weekend with a buddy or two, manning a table at your local gun-show...I enjoyed many years of selling/trading/buying with buds at these shows...miss those days

Unless you are selling a lot of ammo shipping ammo is not worth it. During the last ammo shortage my wife's son bought a new 9mm handgun. He could not find ammo anywhere. So I send him a box of 9mm. The ammo cost about $10 and it cost me $15 to ship by UPS.
I order ammo on line but buy 2,000 or more at a time.

It may be better to sell face to face on Armslist or a local forum.

    Yep, Armslist.

Price it low and it will be gone fast.

I’ve both bought and sold ammo local, either by Arms list or gun forum.

Shipped collectible shotgun shells but that was before the Orm-D thing.

Get yourself an AR45. Maybe put a suppressor on it.

Some good suggestions here so far. Here is another.
Is there a local forum in your area to post to?

I've gone to shooting most of my 45 through my revolvers (SA and DA). Not as hard as shooting in a semi auto. Then you can sell the once fired brass to a reloader.

I feel for you, I hope you get physical therapy and some relief.
    Best wishes to you.
