It's very enlightening, as well as entertaining. Be sure you rent it on DVD, and watch at least TWO of the deleted scenes, or special features.

One showcases the degradation of some popular menu items when left in large glass candy jars. One of them seemingly does NOT degrade!

The most interesting one, however, is the interview with the author of a book from four years ago, "Fast Food Nation". While he is clearly an agenda-driven liberal, he still has a lot of info to offer. So, don't be tempted to "shoot the messenger" and bear with it.;)

I watched it months back. It was funny. It was entertaining. I learned a few things. "A heavy user" is one who eats at FFP more than once a week! Now that's interesting. I never eat at McD's, anymore. Once the kids were older (baby is 21 YO), we stopped going to MacDaddys. Today, the wife and I prefer Wendys and we aren't heavy users.

I watched it this past weekend on Showtime. Interesting movie. The guy may have an agenda but we all know in the back of our minds that this type of food isn't good for us every single day.

I was most interested in the stats on his liver function and his cholesterol.

It was very entertaining, but I hardly ate at McDonalds (or any other fast food joint) to begin with.

Now I'm curious about seeing the fast food in a candy jar.

Now that I've heard about it, I'm wanting to see it too. I wonder why they cut that segment from the documentary?
