Anyone else notice? Bald guy, in Trump's detail from the time the Trumps arrived at the White House through the parade. His right arm sure looked fake, and that was a mighty lumpy jacket he was wearing. I didn't notice it on live TV, but a friend pointed it out, and every time he's on camera, that right arm is in the same position, and he fidgets with the pinky finger multiple times.

Not that it matters, just something to talk about.

EDIT- He can be seen in Bruno's "No class" thread.

Funny that you mentioned it, I also noticed something odd when I was watching.

That is clearly a fake arm. Never thought of that before, but seems like a good plan.

Bren, thanks for using the smarts I ain't got to put up some pics. Looking at it now, SUPER obvious to us all. But in the heat of the moment on live television...

I bet he declined a few handshakes that day.

For my fellow GTers old enough to have lived through the Reagan assassination attempt, you'll recall from the news video the sudden appearance of Secret Service Agent Robert Wanko wielding an Uzi, protecting his colleagues who were subduing Hinckley, and issuing commands.

The weapon was carried inside a plain-looking attaché case with a quick-release latch and held in place by foam and a magnetic bar. The design allows the agent to reach in, grab the weapon, throw away the case and, if need be, come out firing. You can see the open case with its foam cut-out here: http://i.imgur.com/69ObgwA.jpg.

A couple of briefcases carried by "aides" accompanying a POTUS to and from a routine public speech is pretty "grey." Briefcases on a parade route, not so much.

Props to the USSS and all our LEOs for their service and sacrifice. As one friend rightly observed of the USSS, "You have to hand it to them. They're the only men and women in LE trained to stand up when the shooting starts."

    Best to all. Stay safe.

It's good to see they are taking threats seriously and thinking out of the box when it comes to protection.
