I've read a few messages lately (not here) about Seagate drives that were rather negative. People sying that they would never use them, that they only use Western Digital, or some other brand. My research showed that Seagate is supposed to have the quietest drive on the market in the new barracuda. That they were the first manufacturer to offer SATA drives. That they have the highest shock absorbing ability in the desktop drive market. So, are they good, better, best, as Sears would say? Or is it 6 of one, half a dozen the other?
