Well took my lunch break and went and bought the DiamondBack 380. After groping it in many visits I pulled the trigger(bad pun:whistling:)

They were out of all .380 ammo but another store locally had some, I bought 250 rounds of Speer lawman 95 grainers. Sucks at 19.95 a box. I have no time with lawman 380 but as plinkers should be fine. Now to find some Gold Dot.

On a side note they had the Gen4 G22. Told me last week was coming Monday...not bad but I still like the RFT2 better. This was real reason for going to the shop in the first place.

All in all a good gun day I suppose, also found 4 boxes of Federal 9MM 115 grain plinkers at 10 bucks a box.

Awesome! Its a sweet little shooter! The recoil isn't as bad as my Ruger LCP, and it was 100% reliable (Literally- shot 100 rounds). I love the fact it has actual 3-Dot sights, and the manual of arms is just like my 4 Glocks.

I figured I would add a pic. I went this route primarily as the LCP doesn't fit my hand well....doesn't point naturally for me either.

Just a heads up for those with a DB380 I needed a way to carry besides in the pocket. Went to local GS and tried several makes and sizes. Best I found for the price and fit was a Black Hawk inside pants holster size 4. Fits like a champ and for 12 bucks it will do till I find something better. I believe they say it's for the .22's and .25's.

I hope to go to the range tomorrow with a couple hundred rounds.

Pretty close to same size and weight but fits the hand much better.

I found a cheap solution and it fits like it was meant for it. A blackhawk IWB #4 meant for .22's and .25's.

Model# 731PO4BK-R not sure if zero or O and r denotes right hand

If you folks don't mind, how much cash are these setting you back?

    Thanks,

I picked one up last week and have high hopes for the gun. It's probably the only .380 that I could potentially see myself carrying.

Having said that, mine worked great for 5 magazines and then would not work at all. It's on its way back to Florida as we speak and I have been promised that it will work before finding its way home.

Are the mags supposedly interchangeable with the Keltec? How many mags come with the gun? Handled one today and it did feel really good. Wanted $419 plus tax in upstate NY. I am concerned about the availability of .380 ammo but really would like a .380 for deep carry. Torn between the Diamondback, Taurus 738 (locks after last round) or Sig P238 (like the 1911 SA trigger and sort of safety)

I've got the Taurus 738 and mine does not lock back on the last round, heck it doesn't even stay locked back manually.....:steamed: It's supposed to and if I was at all thinking about carrying it would already be on its way back to the service center.

The Diamondback is the best feeling gun of the three and doesn't have any extra levers/safeties hanging off of it to get in the way and forget about.

My Sig P238 is very nice shooting and would be the only one at this point that I would consider reliable enough(zero malfunctions so far) to carry.
