Scottish tablet, Laphroaig style

    Green,

    I love Laphroaig and drink too much of it, however I don't know what Scottish tablet is. Please explain.

    It's a lot like American fudge but much, much better.

    Recipes are available on line and it creates quite a large amount. My wife's is proprietary and developed by experimentation. Where fudge is smooth, creamy and pasty, tablet is granular, crumbly and "melts". Like I said, she made a batch due to request but has more available. Are you interested?

    Sure am. I KNOW I could google it but any homemade recipe is much better. Esp. with Scotch.
