West Tex is full of them. The ranch in NW Oklahoma was also full of them. Gotta check those boots in the morning ! Like wasp, and bees, a dab of Clorox bleach will usually knock out the sting.

We found one in my daughter's bedroom yesterday under her playhouse. We kill anywhere from 10-50 a week just around our 1/3 acre in North Glendale... 20200713_211715.jpg

Cool Op...they are awesome little critters and usually do just what they need to do...if it’s attack they will, if it’s retreat they can haul a** and be gone in the blink of an eye...survivors for sure....

Found one under my garbage can lid the other day while I was barefoot so he got to live and I took a picture instead. Central Texas here too and its the caterpillars that will really get you.

I’ve heard that scorpion venom is the most expensive substance on earth. Collect them and milk them for some big bucks.

The Scorpions can make you uncomfortable but these critters can do you bad damage.

Most any time, I can find a Black Widow web somewhere in/around the barn.

I'm in northern NM at 7000'....and have never seen a scorpion. Some people will say that there are no rattlesnakes here at this high elevation as well, BUT I have seen a couple of those.

When I lived in Santa Fe, there was a sign on every door leading outside, “beware of rattle snakes”. I never saw any though.
    Never saw scorpions either.

I watched a documentary about blue cartoon characters that rode strange animals. They thought it was Unobtanium.

What purpose do scorpions serve? What do they eat and what eats them? You can’t nuke them without knowing the impact.

Been stung a few times by Bark scorpions. Like a bad bee sting but I get numbness in the sting area for 4-6 days. Think a shot of Novican that last much longer. Hate the little buggers but better than rattlesnakes....

I'm terrified of cellar spiders......I couldn't imagine what it's like with scorpions.
