Limit was 6 boxes. They had 9s, and 45s. About 10 of each! WWB 100 rounds.

    9mm was $21.97
    45 Auto was $34.97

Got 3 of each. Was told they have a large backorder in as well at this store. Maybe one day things will return to normal.

Still hit and miss here in the "Q".
But local Sportsman's Warehouse has ammo yet its about an average of .40 cents a bullet for a box of 50 rds in all flavors of ammo.:wavey:

Agreed. Over the past 2 weeks I've checked a total of 6 Walmarts near me and found only 1 box of .357sig which stayed on the shelf and is still there.

Picked up 6 boxes of Independence .40s&w at Sportsman's Warehouse as well for $17/50. They had a crap ton of Federal Personal defense HP's for $25/50, decided I didn't really need those but I bet they're still there.

Really would be nice to find some WWB locally or just some ammo at the wonderful(ly cheap) world of wally.

I was in a Wally World north of here last week and they had more 9mm and .45acp then I could count. They were all 100-count boxes of WWB, plus one lone 50-count box of Federal .45, which I relieved them of having to inventory.

They even had .357 mag, which I haven't seen in Wally World -- or anywhere now that I think about it -- in a year or more. But it was self defense stuff that I didn't necessarily need.

I forget the prices but they were in line with those above, but still above my favorite Blazer brass. I miss that stuff.

Same thing here. They wanted $34 for a box of .357 SIG FMJ. The .40 cheap stuff was $22 a box, they don't have any 9mm or .380. It is pretty ugly.

Bi-Mart(local supermarket chain) on the other hand has a nice selection every day they get shipments. $55 for 9mm UMC 250 packs, $65 for .40.

Blazer Brass is now sold as Federal in the red boxes. Same exact bullet, manufacturer, and price, they just changed the packaging ;)

so I think it is fair to say that perhaps the ammo demand has lessened right??

Are you all noticing prices easing too????

    Walmart prices are going up.

Strangely, ALL last year at WM, 9mm was pretty easy to grab if you got there when the truck offloads, and you couldn't EVER find .40

Now, its the opposite. .40 sits on the shelf forever and 9mm is almost impossible to find. .223 is usually plentiful as well.

Walked into my garage on Tuesday night.... walked out with 500 rounds of 9mm.

Let's see... I can produce 1000 rounds at ~$138, those 500 cost me just under $70.00. And a few hours of my time, of course.

I have 8000 primers still (the hardest component of reloading to find right now), all the brass I can use (4000-5000?), and powder and bullets are plentiful on the market.

Ahhhhhh..... it's nice to be a reloader!
