After numerous stops the last month at 2 different Wal Marts- BINGO:wow:. I came across ammo still on the cart, no even on the shelves yet. I got 5 boxes of 9mm Winchester value packs at $23.97 and 1 box of Federal .45 for $16.97. I need more .45 at that price- .36 cents around after tax. Crazy how spending $145 on ammo before I can even get my morning Starbucks can make my day:thumbsup:. Heading back tonight, hope to get more of both.

Did you see any 9mm by Federal, or RWS? Prices of those?

RWS is at all local stores. From 16.97 at Wlamart to 19.99 at Meijers for boxes of 50. WalMart has 26 boxes of .45 Winchester JHP 21.97, no one seems very interested in it.

Congrats on the ammo score! There's something very satisfying about scoring a nice pile of ammo.

I have actually had to slow down.

When ammo was scarce I had that reflex.

Ammo at a good price? Buy, buy, buy.

Now I see so much local and online, I have to pick and choose.

I found 9mm Winchester WB for $19.99 (100) rounds. Same stuff was $10-15 more at the gun show I was just at. Needless to say my friend and I bought it all.

Let's see.....VPs at $24 is $12/50, not an especially good deal. .45 @ $17/50 ($340/1000) is OK but, how much gas did you waste? What is your time worth? Don't you realize shopping at WM is a waste of time? Order a case online and you will save much more when all is taken into consideration.

Today I picked up 4 boxes on Winchester USA JHP 180gr .40 cal for $23.97 a box and a 250 round UMC megapack of 180gr .40 for $71.97. Way cheaper than Gander Mountain where I had gone to buy ammo earlier and came away empty handed.

I went back Tuesday evening hoping to get more .45 and they were completely out. I did get 6 boxes (50 rnds each) of Federal 9mm at 9.97 a box. Shoots the same as WWB and cheaper. I understand that ordering in bulk on line could be cheaper, but its a challenge trying to catch it as it hits the shelves. Looking for ammo around town is like Glock Talk. Can be a complete waste of time or something gun related to do.

Wow another lame stab by you...you really need to step it up. The title was "scored" at wally world. Obviously and not surprisingly you have no idea what that is.

Last night after dinner my wife and I ran by Wal-Mart to pick up a few things we needed for the house. We chanced to wander through the sporting goods department where I found (happily) 5 100rd. value packs ($30.47 ea) of WWB .40 S&W 165 gr. FMJ ammo and 20 50rd. boxes ($14.47 ea) of Federal Champion .40 S&W 180 gr. FMJ ammo. They had one single 50 rd. box of WWB 125 gr. JHP .38 Special ($26.99 ea) which I did not buy. They had three 50 rd. boxes of WWB .357Sig. ($27.99 ea). They had two 50 rd. boxes of 110 gr. JHP .357 S&W Magnum ammo ($27.99 ea). They had about 15 550 rd. value packs of Federal .22 LR ($18.99 ea). They had no 9mm or .45ACP ammo. I very happily bought one of the 100 rd. value packs of WWB .40 S&W ammo. I am strongly considering returning in just a minute to buy the 125 gr. JHP .38 Special for use in my COLT Det. Spec. The only problem is I know of a local store where I can buy 158 gr. lead round nosed ammo for $16.00/50 rds. Oh well, the problems of life!

I have to say I might be inclined to agree w/ uz2. This is more what I was thinking when I read the title. [IMG]

I guess it all depends on what you call a "hot" chic.:whistling:

The only thing scarcer than ammo at WMs, is the number of hot women.

Glad to OP got some ammo at a "reasonable" price.
