CK, that's some awesome info man. I actually was under the impression that only DNs were built before BX serials.
I have been collecting auction & forum post information for Gen2 19's to help narrow down Tupperware boxes and manuals. I wish I could fill in more of the barrel date codes. If anyone has one of the missing Gen2 19 barrel date codes, please message me.

@cereal_killer please excuse the ignorance on my part, but what exactly is the barrel code? Isn’t that the serial number? Or am I looking for something else?
The 3 letters on the barrel represent the barrel date code. In the list I provided above, the first date is the import date (date it was logged into the U.S) & the second date is the barrel date. Typically barrel date is slightly earlier than import date. I think I said all that correctly.

On this Glock it’s BTT (4/88).

DLxxx Nv vtt

Also, the frame has the circle with a 19 in it on the trigger guard.
All original parts. Internals are black. Includes the original Tupperware, one high cap mag, cleaning brush, speed loader and manual. Only thing it’s missing is one of the original mags. Plastic sights, NOT weekend sights.

Edited for the correct info

Thank you. That is a fantastic example of a collectible and desirable G2 19 that would most certainly bring a premium if ever sold. I’m not suggesting you should sell your early model 19, quite the contrary actually. I would keep it and pass it down to a family member when the time comes. Congratulations to you for owning one of the very early Glock 19’s out of the millions and millions sold since.
