Nice score. My first Glock was a Gen 2 G19 that I bought in 1996 or 97 from a friend of mine and I still have it. At the time, I think it had only been shot a couple of times. Mine has a APV prefix. Where can I go to date mine? Thanks.

What’s the date code for a DL prefix?
That’s a good one! I’m sure you’re aware? Do you still have it? Is it complete with original box, label, mags, manual, etc..? Have you had it since new? Yours is one that I would consider collectible.

Adam, you are thinking of the DN serial not DL. DNs we're the first imported manufactured March 88 before my BP.

I would still consider the DL highly collectible!

I'd love to get my hands on a DN. Yes, DL is early thus collectible but not as significant as the DN which was built way before all the other D's :) I am sure some of you guys have DN G19s.

CK, that's some awesome info man. I actually was under the impression that only DNs were built before BX serials.

I consider both prefixes collectible G2 guns. Most Gen 2’s I don’t see much of a collector interest/value at the current time, but these I most certainly do. I have both a DN and (NIB) BR prefix G2 19.
