I haven't shot my 30/30 in years, but am going to be hunting some relatively thick woods tomorrow, so I'm leaving the 7mm at home. The last time I shot this gun, the scope was dead on at 100 yards. I moved the scope forward on the scope rings about an inch and a half the other day and haven't had a chance to shoot it since. If I don't get a chance to shoot it between now and in the morning, should moving the scope forward on the scope rings throw off the zero? I realize this is a rather speculative question, but I need some peace of mind.
